Threads: Nautical Niceties

I am just going to ignore any comments made about fall; the fact is I love summer, always will and never want it to end. EVER. In fact I want to be on a boat right now wearing some horizontal stripes, various combinations of navy and white accompanied by some pastel of course. Just looking at these images transports me to my happy place, which  100% includes some body of water (sans a stagnant lake or the East River-blarg). Perhaps it is because I was born within the astronomical sign of Cancer  (I fit the description to a tee) or maybe I was pirate in a past life who came back as a ginger. Either way the sea is for me!

The thing I love most about this look is you can wear the chambray shirt over the dress for the cool summer evenings or not. All you have to do is cinch it with a belt to accentuate your curves OR you can wear it over your dress and tie the front ends at the waist. TA-DA!
